Cardiff New Muslim Community is a non-denominational support network for converts in the South Wales area. We offer a safe, non-judgmental space for men and women to meet other converts and support each other on their journey. Our activities include social events, practical workshops meals out, coffee mornings, group sports, moonsighting outings and more. We also run separate men's and women's WhatsApp groups for general chat.

We currently offer a fortnightly halaqa for sisters, and run occasional courses on prayer and other essential Islamic basics. We also signpost to mosques that are convert-friendly, and some of our volunteers also run mosque-based halaqas aimed at new Muslims.

Alhamdulillah we have access to male and female Ulema from various backgrounds as well, for those needing individual guidance. One-to-one mentoring is available for those with extra needs, and all our mentors are trained and undergo enhanced DBS checks. We also offer training to mosques and other Islamic institutions to help them better support new Muslims.
